The two major religions that developed in India and influenced the society hugely were Hinduism and Buddhism. There are three very important religious books for Hinduism and the impact of these books were huge in the Hindu society. The three books were the Vedas, Upanishads and the Mahabharata. These books immensely helped in the spreading as well as in the cultural development of this religion. Gautama Buddha was the first to work in favour of this religion. This was a religion where equality among people formed the base and hence it became very popular within a short span of time. The people that were neglected in the Hindu religion quickly started converting themselves to Buddhism.

The correct answer is Vermont.

St. Albans is located in the Northwest Corner of the State of Vermont, close to the Canadian border.
