  You´re correct the option D is the one.

  During chapter 12 when Ralph is hiding from the rest of the Jack´s tribe enter into a hushed conversation with Samneric and he is the one that tells him that Roger had sharpened a stick at both ends, one to put it into the ground and the other to place Rlaph´s head into.
