"The Iliad" and "The Odyssey" are to Greek Epic poems traditionally attributed to Homer. "The Iliad," tells the story off of the war of Troy. A 10-year military siege against the state city of Ilium. The Main character is Achilles, a legendary warrior who leads the Greek army against the Trojan Army. "The Odyssey," tells the story of the Greek hero Odysseus and his voyage back to his hometown, Ithaca. This trip is full of encounters with mythical beings who operate in favor but also against Odysseus.
They fought for the land so they could live in it, not so they could give it to the Native Americans (whom which the colonists didnt like so much back then)
