Answer:

1. obedience and control

2. the importance of money

Explanation:

The theme "obedience and control" can be noticed when Helmer asks not to be disturbed and asks "did you say? All these things? Is my little spender losing money again?" here shows a tone of Herlmer control over Nora. It also shows that Nora needs to answer what she does and that shows obedience.

The excerpt also shows the importance of money when Nora explains that she is spending money because there will be no need to save money this year.

ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer:

Explanation:

PROMPT 1:

The questions seeks to know how the different young mens and their fathers' personalities affected the events of the 2 stories. The commonality between the 2 stories is that they both involve young men who are worried about their fathers' disapproval of their wives. The question asks how this happened even if the young men and their fathers have different personalities. Focus on how their personalities affected what happened in the 2 stories. A completely hypothetical example is because one of the young men was very unsociable, it was difficult for him to talk to his father about his wife which led to his fathers' non-acceptance of the wife.

PROMT 2:

In "A Meeting in the Dark", the young man in the story opted to kill the woman the claims that he loves for fear of being found out by his father. The woman was pregnant with is child. The young man was very selfish because he wanted to be held in high esteem in society. He prefer to commit murder than be seen as someone other than what image he presented to the community.

PROMT 3:

The people of Africa were ruled by people of different cultures and by the people from different countries. They had a history of colonial rule where they were a colony of many countries.

But despite being ruled by people of different cultures, the people of Africa had pride in their own culture. This gave these people a sense of self worth. The Africans had pride in their own culture, in their own language and their own nation.

What is the central idea of the letter to the editor?
Tpy6a [65]

I would think its D. because in the story "Letter to the editor" How are mixed-use areas different from what we have now? Let me tell you. Our city currently has a dense downtown area and then a massive amount of sprawl reaching out in every direction—the sprawl takes up seventy-five percent of the city’s land. Urban sprawl, the spreading of large developments of housing and shopping areas around a city’s center, has many negative cultural and environmental effects. Sprawl increases traffic congestion along highways. The residents who live in these faraway suburbs often work downtown, where the majority of businesses are still located. They have to undertake long commutes to and from work every day, which limits their time with family and friends and increases their time alone on the road. These longer commutes also result in increased air pollution that can lead to smog problems for the city.
