How did expansion of slavery impact the lives of enslaved people
IceJOKER [234]
Expansion of Slavery impacted the lives of already enslaved people, by causing them to continue being abused and held as slaves. The expansion further strengthened the practice of slavery, making it even harder for slaves to escape and causing more people to be enslaved too.

To keep up with demand, how did African slave traders obtain more enslaved people? a.They took prisoners of war and raided villa
padilas [110]
The main source of slaves in Africa were raids- the slave traders would go into the villages and kidnapped people ( and often killed those that resisted). This was the cheapest way of getting slaves and the slave traders would go for the cheapest way (just manpower to perform the raids). So the correct option is a). Option b) does not make sense - it would not matter where they sell the slaves - they would make profit anyway. option c) seems correct, but the question is asking for "more" slaves - selling goods was how they started obtaining slaves, but to get more slaves, they resorted to kidnapping themselves.

What is the most significant transition that European societies have experienced since 1991
svp [43]
Read this!

Thirty years ago, a wave of optimism swept across Europe as walls and regimes fell, and long-oppressed publics embraced open societies, open markets and a more united Europe. Three decades later, a new Pew Research Center survey finds that few people in the former Eastern Bloc regret the monumental changes of 1989-1991. Yet, neither are they entirely content with their current political or economic circumstances. Indeed, like their Western European counterparts, substantial shares of Central and Eastern European citizens worry about the future on issues like inequality and the functioning of their political systems.

Answer:

A way by which the government might respond to rising threats to national security through fiscal policy would be:

By Increasing the Military Spending

Explanation:

National security of a country may include the security of its institutions, economy, people and much more, but it is usually focused on military issues.

To combat these threats, a compulsory and immediate response force is required, which is usually considered to be the armed forces (which respond to threats and aggression) of that country . Therefore, increasing the military spending is one way to respond to threats to national security, because a larger military presence means greater ability to respond to and prevent these threats.
