How can a field be eroded by heavy rain

Geography

<span>Heavy rain on a fairly even slope creates "sheet runoff." The water flows down slope as an even sheet. Any dips in the slope will collect more runoff water, which will be able to erode more strongly. If the force of this water is not stopped it will produce a gully . The gully will collect more and more water and cause even more erosion. In time it will remove the soil down to solid bedrock.

Answer:

E. Some of the areas with the highest population increases between 2000 and 2010 (above 14.9%) occur in areas with the greatest tsunami risk.

Explanation:

A Tsunami can also be called a tidal wave and is characterized by the displacement of a large volume of wave-shaped water capable of advancing in the terrestrial portion and causing great destruction. Although it does not happen very often, there are areas in the USA with high tsunami risks. These areas are the ones with the highest population growth, which can be a major concern for governments if they need to act against tsunamis.

Answer: Paragraph in the explanation! (Sorry if this isn't quite what your looking for! ^^")

Explanation:

The impact of a river drying up would effect many individual ecosystems and environments. All the water in a flowing river generates from precipitation, so if it dries up, the amount of water formerly in the river can slowly impact all the water in the world. Though it is just one river that originally dried up, as many other dry up, it builds up and eventually causes irreversible damage to the world as a whole.
