MAKE ME BRAINLIEST
Dear Sarah,
I'm sorry I haven't wrote to you in a while as I've been in a holiday in London, let me tell you all about it.
My family and I went to visit London two weeks ago and it was such an amazing experience. The plane ride was a bit too long but the view from up above made it all worthwhile.
We visited a lot of famous places in London such as the Big Ben. It was great seeing that famous tourist attraction that everyone always talks about. We also visited the Buckingham Palace, it was breathtaking seeing such an extraordinary piece of history right in front of us.
However, despite all the wonderful things I visited, we did encounter a bad situation. When my brother and I were walking through the London streets back to our hotel, we almost got robbed! A man suddenly jumped out of an alley and tried to steal my bag, but my brother and I fought him back and he left with a broken nose.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and I hope we can go skydiving because I know you'd love to do that.
Love,
The Magnifique
The answer is Situational Irony. In example: "Olympic swimmer drowns in own bathtub." you'd expect an Olympic swimmer to NOT drown at any time but it makes the situation ironic when it DOES happen
According to Ptolemy’s theory, Earth was at the center of the solar system. To a modern-day reader, this theory will make no sense because it’s well established that the sun is the center of the solar system. This diagram helps the reader picture what Ptolemy’s theory is all about.
The text describes the movement of the sun and the planets around Earth based on Ptolemy’s theory. The diagram aids in the reader’s understanding of the text; it clearly shows the ideas Ptolemy proposed. Earth is shown at the center, and the sun and the planet Venus are shown circling around Earth. Venus is also shown making a circular motion around a point on its path around Earth. Using this diagram, Ptolemy explained the movement of Venus across Earth’s sky from morning to evening and the reason Venus sometimes appears on one side of the sun and sometimes on the other.
