The answer is:  [D]:
_______________________________________________
"<span>(9) Sadly, even after that water is found, only some of its clean and safe enough to drink"
________________________________________________
The word "its" ;  should be changed to "it's" ;  which, in this case, would be a contraction for:  "it is" .
___________________________________________________________
Alternately, the word "its", in this context, could be changed to the words:
"it is" .  In fact, eliminating contractions (and writing out the full words) is the preferred method in formal writing.
___________________________________________________________</span>

larisa [96]

The answer is: allusion.

Allusion is a brief reference to a person, event, place or work of art.
