Answer: The SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope).

Explanation
The SEM produces images of the surface shape, composition and structure (morphology) of cells by scanning the sample with focused electron beams.

The interaction between the electrons and atoms in the cell produce visual images that reveal the surface composition and structure of the cell.

The SEM can achieve resolutions at the nanometer level. The specimen or sample is usually observed in a vacuum environment.

The type of microscope that is used to see the external surfaces of cells to determine morphology is the scanning electron microscope or SEM. The scanning electron microscope utilizes a fixated ray of high - energy electrons to create an assortment of signals at the exterior of solid specimens. The signals that arise from electron sample relations expose data about the sample together with exterior morphology, chemical composition and structure of the solid and how the solid is oriented. It is done by getting a small sample from the substance to be examined. A two dimensional image is made after scanning with an area at 1cm to 5 microns approximately. The magnification is at about 20X to 30,000X the sample with a spatial resolution of 50 to 100nm.

Arrange the events in the correct order to describe how the magnetic field forms around Earth.
horsena [70]
The correct sequence of events is : C,D,B,A.
Iron rich magma in the earth's core heats up because of radiation and the pressure exerted by the other layers of the earth. This heat in the crust trigger convection currents in the mantle. The magma closest to the core will be hotter and therefore less dense than other layers. Being less dense the layer will rise towards the crust, eventually becoming cooler and sinking back down in a circular motion.
The continued circular motion creates electric currents which then generates the magnetic field.

Lubov Fominskaja [6]

Answer: C.  Dead snake fossilizing underground.

A fossil fuel is the fuel that is formed by natural processes, such as anaerobic decomposition of dead plants and animals underground. These organisms and their remains remain deep inside the depth of numerous layers of soil resulting in fuel produced after millions of years. A carbon sink refers to a natural or artificial reservoir that stores and absorbs atmospheric carbon by physical and biological process. The formation of fossil fuel inside the earth is carbon sink.

Dead snake will be added as a matter on which biological activity called as decomposition will take place. The organic matter of dead snake will be decomposed by microbes in the soil. The organic matter being the source of carbon, after decomposition will become the reservoir of carbon in the form of fossil fuel.

Therefore, dead snake fossilizing underground is the example of carbon source becoming a carbon sink.
