What is the main difference between news magazines and newspapers?
ad-work [718]

Answer:

Engraved shells created by Homo erectus dating as far back as 500,000 years ago have been found, although experts disagree on whether these engravings can be properly classified as ‘art’.[1][2] A number of claims of Neanderthal art, adornment, and structures have been made, dating from around 130,000 before present and suggesting that Neanderthals may have been capable of symbolic thought,[9][10] but none of these claims are widely accepted.[

at the beginning of the story, How is the servant’s view toward the impossible tasks different from the king’s. "Water for life"
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

The servant is willing to attempt whatever is asked of him, unlike the king who asks others to do work that he can take credit for.

Explanation:

"The Water of Life" is a short story written by Howard Pyle. The story is about a faithful servant. There was no else as faithful as him in the whole world. The faithful servant wore a golden armlet that fitted his wrist as his own skin.

The theme of the story is the reward hardwork and guile. The faithful servant in the story was a hardworking servant that performed the tasks without questioning the king or asking anything in return. Whereas, the young king was filled with guile and wanted to take credit of his servant's hardwork.

The attitude of this faithful servant towards the impossible tasks was that he was willing to attempt them. He, on every task, said that he will try to do these tasks. And he succeeded in all those tasks. On the other hand, attitude of the young king towards these impossible tasks was that he asked his servant to perform these tasks and took credit of it.

In the book The Giver, what are the pros and cons of being the Receiver of Memory?
Sonja [21]
I can help, but my memory is kinda foggy since I read the book last year. (And also because the movie takes up most of my memory.)

Pros:
-can see colors
-exclusive access to a certain place (can't remember exactly where)

Cons:
-know hatred, abuse, sadness, etc
-being different from the other kids
-know the "real" world

And that's pretty much it. I try to answer questions I know at least a little bit about. :)
