1. There are 16 cups in one gallon.
So if he eats 4 cups a day, 7 days a week, the equation would look like
4*7=36, meaning he eats 36 cups a week. To convert to gallons divided through total by the amount of cups per gallon: 36/16=2.25
So he eats 2.25 gallons, or 2 gallons and 4 cups of brains per week.

2. One pint is the equivalent of 94 teaspoons. So in one hour, she ate 3 pints or 288 teaspoons of ice cream. Since there are 60 minutes per hour, that means 3 hours is equal to 180 minutes. So in order to figure out how many teaspoons she ate per minute we should divide the total number of teaspoons she ate by the total amount of minutes: 288/180= 1.6 teaspoons per minute.

3. There are 60 seconds in a minute, and 4 quarts in one gallon. So to make this simpler, we will start by converting the gallons to quarts: 4 gallons = 16 quarts. So that means 16 pints per minute. To figure out how many per second, we divide the number of quarts by the number of seconds in one minute: 16/60= .27, so .27quarts per second.

Graph the linear equations in three points: -x-2y=-10
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Rewrite -x-2y= -10 as  -2y= x - 10 and then as y = (-1/2)x + 5.

Then choose any 3 x values and find the corresponding y values using this formula.  For example:

 x     y = (-1/2)x + 5              (x, y)

-----   --------------------            ---------

 0                   5                    (0, 5)

-4       (-1/2)(-4) + 5 = 7         (-4, 7)

  6      (-1/2)(6) + 5 = 2          (6, 2)

Plot these three points and then draw a line through them.

Amber has been working very hard and finally got a salary increase of 100%. She was earning $200 per week. How much is she earni
kogti [31]

Answer:

$400

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Earnings per week for Amber = $200

Total increase in the salary as per Amber's hard work = 100%

To find:

Earnings of Amber now?

Solution:

We are given the initial salary and its percentage increase.

We have to find the increased value of salary.

Increase in the salary = 100% of $200

\Rightarrow \dfrac{100}{100}\times \$200\\\Rightarrow \bold{\$200}

Amber's Current salary = Initial salary + Increase in the salary

Putting the values of the initial salary and increase in the salary:

Amber's Current salary = $200 + $200 = <em>$400</em>
