If 18 meters of high-resistance wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm has a resistance of 10 okms, what is the resistance of 27 m of the same type of wire with a diameter of 1.5 mm?

I thinks since the resistance won't change no matter how long the wire I would use this equation

1.2 mm  1.5mm

(1.) 10okms by 1.5mm=15mmokms
(2.) 15okmsmm by 1.2mm=12.5 ohms
when cross multiplying, (A)unit 1X (B)unit 2=(C)unit 1 2
but after, when dividing by on of the same units the units cancel. For example
Cunit 12= combination of both units
but after dividing by (A) unit you end up with an answer inn (B) unit. The same is true if you divid by (B). You end up with an answer with (A)unit as the unit.
