Vosotros - This word is only used in Spain. All of Latin America does not use this word. It means "you guys" and is only used in informal situations. Examples would be with your friends, family or anyone else that you are familiar with.

Ustedes - This word is used in both Spain and Latin America. In Spain, the word is only used in formal occasions with your professors, or some that is older than you to show respect. However, in the rest of Latin America it is used as vosotros is used Spain and as ustedes is used in Spain. It also means "you guys."

I hope this helps you!

Why is it important to use the proper ending when you conjugate any verb in Spanish?
natima [27]

Explanation:

The ending tells the audience who you are talking about, and also the tense you are talking in. Without the ending, no one would know who you're talking about (if you didn't say the subject before), and everyone could just assume you are always saying the present tense.

Ex. What they think you said- I'm buying a cake for my brother's birthday.

What you actually said- I bought a cake for my brother's birthday

This interpretation could lead to all sorts of problems, I'll leave what to your imagination, and this goes for many other situations.

Last is the obvious: if you do that in class, you fail your test.
