1. 'But the Raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.' (It seems to Poe that the bird speaks with human emotion as if it is indeed trying to communicate with him, and answer the questions arising in his mind)

2. 'In there stepped a stately Raven of the saintly days of yore;
    Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
    But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door...' (Poe considers the raven's demeanor to be unyielding, somewhat like how a king would behave in front of his subjects, or how a man of higher social rank would behave in front of those of lesser rank)

3. 'And the silken, sad, uncertain rustling of each purple curtain...' (Uncertainty is a quality attributed to humans)

4. 'And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.' (Ghosts are usually used in reference to humans beings, but here, Poe has assigned this reference to the burning embers from his fire)

I hope this helped you out!

Monica [59]
Annie is extremely frustrated because she is finally getting through to Helen but her time has ran out and she has to send Helen back into the house with her family. She feels that the little bit that she has already taught Helen will be erased once Helen is put back into a place with her family who babies her instead of insisting that she be treated like a normal child. Her thoughts are solidified when Helen throws a temper tantrum at her homecoming dinner once Helen realizes that she is back inside her own home. Although the Kellers are against punishing Helen for her behavior at the dinner reluctantly, they allow Annie to discipline her. As a result, Annie takes Helen outside to the water pump to refill the pitcher of water that she spilled at the table. When Helen feels the water running over her hands she has a flashback of a memory from her early childhood when she could hear. she equates the running water to " wa wa" (baby talk for water). Annie then takes this opportunity to take Helen to the various things that she has learned around the front yard and reinforce what she has taught her ex. she takes her to a tree and then signs the word tree, then she takes her to the steps and signs the word step. It is at this point when Helen begins to understand what the sign language means. Annie's beliefs are right. Helen is capable of learning. She just needed to find a way to reach her.

The text states that there are "fallacious argument templates" (Facione & Gittens, p. 167) and then gives a number of exampl
vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

The selected fallacy is:

Denying the Antecedent or False Classification, paired with the valid argument template, Denying the Consequent.

Explanation:

In denying the antecedent or false classification, the fallacy is revealed as an invalid inference fallacy through the analysis of the valid argument template: denying the consequent, to match the shallow similarity to the legitimate means of inference, this is also known as deductive fallacy.
