It would be helpful to draw the figures, you will see that for ABCD there 2 lacking side lengths which are AB and CD. For EFGH, there is one lacking side length which is EH. We use the ratios of the corresponding sides to determine side EH. We do as follows:

FG / BC = EH / AD
10 / 8 = EH / 12
EH = 15

Therefore, the perimeter would be:

15+10+5+15 = 45 units

Step-by-step explanation:

To be doubly sure of your answer, do the actual mult.:

What is the best description for the lines
jeyben [28]

Answer:

Lines are described as connecting curve joining two points.

Step-by-step explanation:

In coordinate geometry, graph theory, we have points which do not occupy any space.

Any two points can be connected by a curve or a straight line.  If two points are joined by a straight line, then we have the slope of the line i.e. the tangent of angle of the line with x axis is constant.

Straight lines would be of the form ax+by+c=0

Hence in equation form, lines would have equations in linear form of both x and y.

Lines have constant slope throughout the region.

Lines can be extended from -infinity to +infinity

Any two distinct  points can make a line, but 3 points need not lie on the same line.

Alan multiplies a 4-digit number by 36. How can you tell the
mafiozo [28]

The number of partial products Alan will have when he multiplies a 4-digit number by 36 is; 8 partial products.

First, we must establish that a 4-digit number will have 4 place values namely;

  • Thousands
  • Hundreds
  • Tens
  • Ones.

And since, 36 has 2 place values;

We can conclude that the number of partial products that Alan wil have is; 2× 4 = 8.
