Losing sight of people's curiosity can be related to some kind of neurological disorder or depression. People who tend to lose interest in life itself are more likely to focus more on surviving rather than being curious. They feel unmotivated and tend to do only the basic thinking - How to survive? They lose their desire to know and explore more.
