Which of these is not something whose construction would be determined by the government?
alexandr402 [8]
The answer D.) A shopping mall

The reason this is is because all shopping malls are privately owned.

Road construction is determined by the DOT (Department of Transportation). Commercial airports are operated by public entities including the state authorities who issue bonds for capital needs. Sewage plants are run by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and are all publicly run and controlled by the government as well. That leaves the only privately owned thing, the shopping mall. Since they are privately owned, the government has almost no control of the business and there is a lot less hassle involved.

Thank you for your question! I hope this helped! Have an amazing day and feel free to let me know if you have any further questions about anything or just need help! :D
