Couch: 2x
love seat: 2x+400
chair: x
total amount: $1565
2x+2x+400+x=1565
5x+400=1565
5x=1165
x= 233
The cost of the chair is $233. The cost of the couch is $466. The cost of the love seat is $866.

Hope this helps!
