In a sentence, every verb has a subject. The verb is the action, and the subject is the person or thing that's doing the action. Example, Stacy in, "Is Stacy still running about?" Stacy is the thing that's still running about, so she's the subject. I hope I helped :)

“God lives in the heart of the Panch,” the aunt said. What did she mean?
puteri [66]

Answer:

She meant to remind Algu that Panch holds a position equal to God so he should never be biased. He should be just and fair.

   Panch is always impartial and unbiased and would not kill his conscience for the sake of friendship. Everybody is equal before him. The justice delivered by Panch would be considered as the justice delivered by God.

Click on the sentence that shows coordination of independent clauses.
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

The sentence that shows coordination of independent clauses is:

B. Ted Williams took time out from his baseball career to serve in the military; he joined the Marines during World War II  and went on active duty during the Korean War.

Explanation:

Independent clauses are groups of words that have a subject and a predicate. They can express a complete thought on their own, standing alone as a sentence. When we join two independent clauses, we establish a relationship of coordination. To do that, we can use either of two ways:

- we can join the two independent clauses with a semicolon;

- we can join them with a comma and a coordinating conjunction.

Of the two sentences provided as options in the question, the second one uses the first method mentioned above: it joins the clauses with a semicolon, establishing the coordination between them. Therefore, it is the correct option:

B. Ted Williams took time out from his baseball career to serve in the military; he joined the Marines during World War II  and went on active duty during the Korean War.
