I don't think doctors are supposed to do that but if they are I'm guessing it's probably to kill a infection of some kind or speed up the healing process

Can some one help me with the natural science lab report it’s on Darwin’s theory with the different gallapos beak size, I will g
77julia77 [94]

Answer:

The basic principle of Darwinism is "survival of the fittest". Darwin's theory stated that all species of an organism develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations in organisms that increase the individual's ability to compete, survive, and reproduce in the wild.

Darwin's trip to the Galapagos Islands actually was the beginning of his Social Darwinism Theory. During his visit to the islands, Darwin noted that the unique creatures were similar from island to island, but well-adapted to their environments. This led him to ponder the origin of the islands' inhabitants.

Darwin's finches (the Galapagos beaks) are considered to be the world’s fastest-evolving vertebrates. This is because their appearance and behavior quickly adapt to the closed and rapidly changing environment on the Galapagos Islands.

.Answer:

1. s-waves

2. s-waves

3. p-waves

4. p-waves

5.surface waves

Explanation:

 • A P-wave is one of the two main types of elastic body waves, called seismic waves in seismology. P-waves travel faster than other seismic waves and hence are the first signal from an earthquake to arrive at any affected location or at a seismograph. P-waves may be transmitted through gases, liquids, or solids.
 • a surface wave is a mechanical wave that propagates along the interface between differing media. A common example is gravity waves along the surface of liquids, such as ocean waves. Gravity waves can also occur within liquids, at the interface between two fluids with different densities
 • S-waves, secondary waves, or shear waves (sometimes called an elastic S-wave) are a type of elastic wave and are one of the two main types of elastic body waves, so named because they move through the body of an object, unlike surface waves.

Which important biochemical process receives a supply of NAD+ ions from the fermentation process during anaerobic respiration?
sammy [17]

Answer:

Glycolysis.

Explanation:

Glycolysis is a universal process that provides energy in the form of ATP molecules. It requires two molecules of NAD+, which are reduced to NADH during glycolysis. Thus, regeneration of NAD+ is necessary as if NAD+ is absent, glycolysis cannot be able to continue.

During anaerobic respiration (respiration in the absence of oxygen), fermentation takes place to regenerate NAD+ used in the process of glycolysis.
