Fort Duquesne was a major battle of the French and Indian War.

One of the bloodiest battles fought during the Frenc and Indian War between French and British troops was Fort Duquesne on September 14, 1758. English General John Forbes led 6000 soldiers to capture the Ohio Valley, trying to continue up until the Canadian territory. The French and Indian War started in 1754 and ented until 1763, with the victory to the British Crown. Peace was agreed upon during the Treaty of Paris of 1763.
