Answer:

"nicotine".

Explanation:

According to my research on the ingredients and side effects of cigarettes the ingredient that complies with all the side effects mentioned is "nicotine". Nicotine is an addicting agent found in cigarettes that can cause headaches, nausea, throat pain, cough, runny nose,  heartburn, sweating, and even diarrhea. Since it is addicting the stopping of smoking cigarettes will throw your body into nicotine withdrawal which can cause dizziness, anxiety, depression, or even trouble sleeping.

Answer:

Elaboration

Explanation:

According to my research on different memory strategies, I can say that based on the information provided within the question the memory strategy that you are recommending is called Elaboration. This (like mentioned in the question) is a strategy which focuses on assigning specific information that is meaningful to the individual onto what you are trying to remember. This allows you to easily remember non-meaningful information.

An example of you are trying to memorize your locker number therefore you can add meaningful information to it such as the jersey numbers of the players in your soccer team.

What provide an opening for air to enter the nasal cavity?
pychu [463]

Nares provide an opening for air to enter the nasal cavity.

Air enters the nasal cavity from the outside through two openings: the nostrils or external nares. The openings from the nasal cavity into the pharynx are the internal nares.

The nasal cavity and mouth join at the area in the back of the throat called the oropharynx  . The pharynx is part of two body systems (the respiratory system and the digestive system) because it carries both air and food.

At the bottom   the pharynx is divided in to two pipes-  one for air and one for food. One pipe, the larynx, is for air only. It’s also called the voice box because it contains a pair of vocal cords that vibrate to make sounds when you talk.

A small flap of tissue called the epiglottis protects the larynx. When we swallow, the epiglottis covers the larynx to prevent food and liquid from going into the lungs.

The trachea (windpipe) is the part of the airway that continues below the larynx .

The carina is at the bottom of the trachea and is the point at which the trachea divides into the left and right main bronchus leading to the lungs.
