Hi!

The correct answer is=> What kind is it?

Let's take for an example, that we are talking about table.

• What kind of table it is? It's of WOOD.
• How many are there? It's FIFTY.
•Which one is it? It's YELLOW one.

=> Noun is a word representing name, place, animal, thing.

Thus, Wood is only noun. So, First option is correct.
Second one and third one is fifty and yellow respectively, that's adjective.

Hope it helps...!!!

Why were the anthropophage considered to be monstrous?
Misha Larkins [42]
The antropophage were considered to be monstrous because B. they were cannibals. This word comes from the Latin word antropophagus, which means man-eater, which is a cannibal. These people ate other people, according to a myth, which is what makes them monstrous. A and D would not make a person monstrous, and C is just incorrect - they were not that large.

Which possessive noun is written correctly in the sentences below?
MariettaO [177]

Answer:

A. The baby's bottle was empty.

Explanation:

Possessive nouns are nouns used to show ownership, i.e. that something owns something else. In most cases, a possessive noun is formed by adding an apostrophe and s to the noun. If the noun is plural and already ends in s, only an apostrophe is added.

The sentence that contains a properly written possessive noun is sentence A. The bottle is owned by the baby. An apostrophe and s are properly added to this noun.

In sentence B, the apostrophe should be placed before s in girls'. If the noun was plural, it would've been correct, but it is singular.

In sentence C, there is no possessive noun.

In sentence D, the apostrophe should be placed before s in mens'. Men is the plural form of man, and the possessive form is men's.
