Answer:

Vengeance

Explanation:

After the great-war devastated Europe, decimated Europe’s male population and killed a large number of civilians. Because of that many countries such as Britain blamed Germany for the war and wanted vengeance, Lloyd George promised to make Germany pay. Germany was demanded to pay huge sums of reparations.

On the other side, Woodrow Wilson believed that Germany should be punished but it should not be so drastic because Europe needed reconciliation rather than revenge.

In the end, Germany had 13% of its territory stripped, border territories of Alsace and Lorraine returned to France, lost all its colonies, the size of army and navy was cut, airforce and submarines were forbidden and reparations were fixed at 6,000 million £

How long did it take for Rome to be built
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

1,000 years

Explanation:

The Roman Empire evolved over many centuries, but tradition holds that the city of Rome itself was founded in 753 B.C. As a city that is still standing today, Rome has never been completely finished.

Rome and its surrounding land took centuries to evolve into what would become the Roman Empire. Due to the dedication of Roman emperors and the labor of citizens and soldiers, Rome became the massive superpower that ruled so much of Europe and the Middle East in ancient times.

There is a famous adage that states, "Rome wasn't built in a day." This quote, according to Dictionary.com, is used to urge someone to be patient, as it is not always possible to make big things happen right away.

1. How did the Mexican government react to the Fredonian Rebellion in Texas? *<br> (2 points)
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

Austin gathers a militia and, with Mexican soldiers, marched to Nacogdoches to put down the rebellion. Despite the rebellion ending before his army got there, Austin won the confidence of the Mexican government. However, the Mexican government began to become distrustful of the loyalties of their American colonists.

Fearing that through the rebellion, the United States hoped to gain control of Texas, the Mexican government severely curtailed immigration to the region from the US. The new immigration law was bitterly opposed by colonists and caused increasing dissatisfaction with Mexican rule.
