Answer:

d. 5.08%

Explanation:

We have to first calculate the YTM of the bond, and then apply the tax shield.

To get the YTM we have to calculate the rate of return of an annuity of 46.25 for 20 years compounding semiannually at IRR rate and the present value of the face value redeem in 20 years.

C \times \frac{1-(1+r)^{-time} }{rate} +Face\:Value/(1+rate)^{time}= PV\\

46.25 \times \frac{1-(1+IRR/2)^{-20*2} }{rate} + 1000/(1+IRR)^{20}= 1075\\

IRR = 0.084656891 (it should be done using financial calculator or excel or a similar software program)

then we apply the shield tax to the IRR:

IRR x (1 - tax-rate) = Cost of debt

0.084656891 * ( 1 - 0.4) = 5.0794= 5.08

Which of the following will not create minimum contacts in a state sufficient to find personal jurisdiction on an out-of-state d
Maurinko [17]

Answer: A company maintains a website that provides information about its products and that provides an address or number that a customer can contact to obtain an order form to purchase products directly from the company.

Explanation:

With different states having varying laws but yet still sharing a lot of business interests, it is important that the states know when they can have jurisdiction over a person.

Minimum contacts is the solution and is used to determine whether an entity has sufficient contacts in a state to warrant jurisdiction over them.

Simply having a website that can be accessed by people in a state does not fall under the provisions required for minimum contact to be met so the courts in this state cannot have personal jurisdiction over this company.

LuckyWell [14K]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The main advantage of a compound interest account is that the interest that you earn also earns interest, so the total amount of earned interest increases.

For example, a $10,000 account earning simple interest at a 4% rate will earn $4,000 in ten years. While the same amount in a compound interest account will earn $4,802.
