After which the deadly waves traveled to Thailand with a 500 mph speed and crossed the Indian ocean with a death toll of 5,400 civilians and 2,000 foreign tourists. The occurrence of the earthquake and the large scale destruction of life and property clearly shows the lack of awareness of people and lack of information system to track on the natural disaster.
