The total of internal angles of a triangle always adds up to 180 degrees.  Since we know 2 of the 3 angles we can find the missing angle.

64 degrees + 16 degrees = 80 degrees

This is 2 of the 3 angles.
The 3rd angle will be 180 - 80 = 100 degrees

A toy rocket is shot vertically into the air from a launching pad 9 feet above the ground with an initial velocity of 168 feet p
hammer [34]
Y(initial) = 9
V(initial) = 168
V(final) = 0
g(accel-grav) = 32 (in feet per second
squared)
Use the following equation:
V(final) = V(initial) + a(t)
Since this object is moving straight up and
down, a = -32
Enter the knowns into the equation
0 = 168 - 32t
32t = 168
t = 168/9.8
t = 5.25

Now that you know the time it takes to
reach it's maximum, use the general
kinematics equation to solve for final
distance:

y(final) = y(initial) + V(initial)(t) + (1/2)a
(t²)

y(final) = 9 + 168(5.25) + (1/2)(-32)
(5.25²)

= 9 + 882 - 441

= 450 feet

BC=<br> Round to the nearest hundred
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

2.3 units

Step-by-step explanation:

The unknown side is opposite the given angle 50 degrees, and the length of the hypotenuse is 3 units.

Since sin Ф = opp / hyp, we have here sin 50° = x/3, or x = 3 sin 50°.

Using a calculator, we find that the sine of 50° is 0.776.

Therefore, x = 3(0.766) = 2.298 units, or approximately 2.3 units
