Hi,
This is an exam so I'm not going to feed you the answer, but I'll give you a few tips.

B is almost a dead-giveaway that it's incorrect. Why? It's vague, uses the word "just", and seems immature. You can pretty much cross that one out.

A and D could both be right, as long as they're backed up by evidence. Usually, this means you read a short essay before answering, and the answer lies in your reading.

C is a general answer (which could either be safe or unsafe), but is also unable to be proven wrong. It's true that children of any age require different care than children of a different age.

Good luck, and have fun

All of these sentences include commonly confused homophones. Which sentence is correct? Select one: a. Should these clothes be d
Yuliya22 [10]

Answer:

Sentence A is correct

Explanation:

Let’s begin by looking at Sentences B-D:

B. our house was built on the sight of an old factory.

This sentence uses the word “sight” incorrectly. The word should be site, as in “location.”

C. Whose scheduled to work at the restaurant tonight?

This sentence uses the word “whose” incorrectly. The word should be who’s, as in the contraction of “who is.”

D. Kim was upset because everyone had a job accept her.

This sentence uses the word “accept“ incorrectly. The word should be except, as in “excluding.”

That leaves Sentence A, which uses all words (including the homophone “clothes”) correctly.

I hope this helps!

tamaranim1 [39]

I don't really know the answer, But i believe they might be surprised that he was able to fly a plane just by some directions and having no knowledge. They might of also been happy because nothing happened to there child if they wouldn't have crashed.
