DNA has an overall negative charge because DNA backbones are made of deoxyribose and pentose sugar which are connected in phosphodiester bond. The groups of phosphate usually have a negative charge that makes positively charged particles (<span>histone proteins)</span> to interact and form chromatin.

Hello! :)

It turns out that there are at three simple machines found in a bicycle: lever, pulley, and wheel-and-axle. There are three more kinds of simple machines: an inclined plane, a wedge and a screw. When a machine is comprised of more than one type of simple machine, it is called a compound machine.

Hope I helped and answered in time!

Good luck!

What happens when electromagnetic waves strike a rough, dark material?
Sidana [21]
When electromagnetic waves strike an obstacle, some of the wave is reflected off the surface of the obstacle, some of the wave is absorbed and some is transmitted through the material. But in the case of dark material, dark colour usually absorb all the waves that hit it, so in this case, the electromagnetic waves will mostly be absorbed by the dark material.
