Yes, anaerobic organisms still exist today. Anaerobic organisms are those that do not need oxygen in order to survive. Examples are Actinomyces, Bacteroides, Clostridium, Fusobacterium, Peptostreptococcus, Porphyromonas, Prevotella, Propionibacterium, and Veillonella. These organisms are very present now and exist in many places worldwide. Hope this answers the question.
