We can learn about our lack of morality by studying history.

We used to burn people alive because someone called them a witch.

We have literally been hating on Jews since the plague for unknown reasons.

We hated gay people for hundreds of years and a lot continue to do so.

We hate people based on their skin color

We literally enslaved people based on racism.

And lots more...

Its not that these people lack morals, its that their morals are skewed due to their own ignorance, they genuinely think they are in the right.
