Shelter 1 = 22.22% black cats

Shelter 2 = 51.17% black cats

Shelter 3 = 60% black cats

Shelter 4 = 72% black cats

Shelter 4 has the greatest percentage of black cats

I found the percentages by dividing the first number by the second number (4 divided by 18, etc.) Then moving the decimal point 2 places to the right to create a percent.

Solve each quadratic equation. Show your work. 4x^2=100
ZanzabumX [31]
Hello there!

4x² = 100

We wanna start by dividing both sides by 4

4x²/4 = 100/4

x² = 25

Now we can take square root

x = +/-√25

x = 5 or x = -5

As always, it is my pleasure to help students like you!

What's the difference between 6z and z6
Airida [17]
Simple..

there is a major difference between 6z and z^{6}

6z means: 6 times z

and

z^{6} means: z to the power of 6(z*z*z*z*z*z)

An example...

make z=2...plug n chug..

6z----> 6(2)=12
and
z^{6}--->2^{6}=64

As you can see..there is a major difference.

Thus, your answer.

A horse-drawn carriage tour company has found that the number of people that take their tour depends on the price charged per cu
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

  The horse-drawn carriage tour company can expect to take in $6960 when the charge per customer is $60.

Step-by-step explanation:

p(2) = 120 -2·2 = 116 . . . . . expected number of customers per day

c(2) = 50 +5·2 = 60 . . . . . . charge per customer

Then ...

  (p·c)(2) = p(2)·c(2) = 116·60 = 6960 . . . . revenue for the day
