2 Points What happens when alleles for a trait are codominant?

Biology

Answer:

see below

Explanation:

Codominant traits are both visible.  Since both traits are dominant, one trait can't cover up the other one since neither of them are recessive.

For example, roan is a codominant coat color in horses and cattle (and probably other species too).  An offspring with roan coat coloring has both red and white colors visible.  Red and white are both dominant traits, and therefore one trait can't cover the other trait, so both are visible.
