Bearing in mind that Edgar Allan Poe was a writer generally recognized as one of the universal teachers of the short story, of which he was one of the first practitioners in his country. He was a renovator of the Gothic novel, especially remembered for his horror stories. Considered the inventor of the detective story, he also contributed several works to the emerging genre of science fiction. and keeping in mind the story "The Masque of the Red Death", we can affirm that the effect sought in his narrative was always to cause horror in the reader.
My response has been to reform the church and correct what i think are errors in church practices. I have not intended to challenge the church's authority to act correctly.
Her language changes; she doesn't speak proper English around the other church members because she doesn't want to appear superior or better than them.
