Luda [366]

Answer:

The tone of the poem was laudatory.

1. The audience were Britons

2. The poem was written to praise the colonists who were moving over to Virginia and to encourage others to join them.

3. This poem was written from the perspective of a poet who wanted to promote the new colony and also encourage Britons to make the courageous move. He listed the numerous benefits of the new colony.

Explanation:

The poem was written by Michael Drayton to address Britons in general. More specifically, the poet praised Britons who made the journey to Virginia to start a new colony while he condemned as lazy those who did not move with others. The tone of the poem was laudatory and full of praises for some while others were denounced.

The poet did a sort of promotion of the colony by even comparing it to a paradise. He ended the poem by encouraging one of the founders of the new colony whose name was Hakluyt to document the voyage.

Write five sentences about why Kurt Cobain is famous!!? (I know y'all may not know who he is but oh well)
Marysya12 [62]

Answer:

Kurt Cobain was one of the most famous musicians of the 1990s. He rose to fame after his band released their groundbreaking album, "Nevermind". The album was a massive hit and broke all types of records. Kurt Cobain then found it difficult to struggle with all of the fame and fortune, as with most people, and started heavily doing drugs. After two years Nirvana released another hit album "In Utero". This once again broke records and continued to make grunge music a popular genre. After years of fame, Kurt Cobain had been struggling with addiction and after having a child with his wife Courtney Love, he ended his life. Many fans were heartbroken after seeing their idol lose his life in such a tragic way. However, some fans created conspiracies of their own about how and why he died.
