The answer is $3000.

He earned $750 out of $9000 so if we divide 9000/750 you can see how much he makes. 9000/750=12 that means that for every $12 in sales he makes $1.

With the information we have we can now take $1000 and multiply it by 12 giving us the number in sales needed to be made for him to get $1000.  Now subtract $9000 and you get $3000 which is your answer.

$3000+$9000=$12000
$12000/12=$1000

What is the volume of 4/5 3 1/2 3 1/8
scZoUnD [109]
If you would like to know the volume, you can calculate this using the following steps:

volume = 4/5 * 3 1/2 * 3 1/8 = 4/5 * 7/2 * 25/8 = (5*7)/(2*2) = 35/4 = 8.75

The correct result would be 35/4.

The area of the trapezuim ?!
DedPeter [7]
We Know, Area of Trapezium = (a+b)/2 * h
Where, a & b are parallel bases & h is height.

Here, we have a = 8, b = 18, h = 5
substitute them into the expression, as follows:
Area = (8+18)/2 * 5
A = 26/2 * 5
A = 13 * 5
A = 65

So, area would be 65 cm²

Hope this helps!
