A probable result of an economic reform in a progressive era is going to be chaotic at first. Economic reform always involves the deregulation or reduction of the size of the government. People do this in the hope that the distortions caused by these regulations would be fixed in the long run. But when this has not been carefully planned, people who are in office or are in power that were suddenly stripped off of their title would definitely go against such practice creating more chaos in society.

What could be done to increase turnout constitutional amendment elections?
Vera_Pavlovna [14]
Political parties have used state-level ballot initiatives to motivate voter turnout in different ways.
For example, in 2004, the Republican Party put a constitutional amendment on gay marriage on the ballot in many states. This move motivated Republican voters to show up on Election Day to vote against the measures, which defeated the initiatives and helped President George W. Bush beat John Kerry.
In 2018, the trends in ballot initiatives show a focus on transportation and taxes.
