What are three ways a Colonizing country could make money by colonizing another country?
tangare [24]

Answer:

Exploiting natural resources - this is the most straightforward approach. Colonies were established mainly to obtain the economic benefit from exploiting resources such as lumber, ore, gold, coal, etc.

Exploiting the population - exploiting the labor power of people in the colonies is also a way for the colonizer country to make money out of the colonized territory. The forms of exploitation can vary from straight up slavery, to serfdom, to wage labor with extremely low pay.

Making the colony a captive market - The colony can also become a captive market for the colonizing country. This means that the people in the colony are obliged to buy goods and services from the colonizing country due to internal or external restrictions to competition and trade.

PLZZZZZ HELP 15 POINTS
Elenna [48]

Answer:

Point: One effect of being an Upstander when confronted with a bullying situation is that it, in most cases, ends the bullying as far as the person being bullied is concerned.

Explanation:

Evidence: This happened to me when I was in third grade. I was a serial victim of one of my classmates until another classmate who had just joined the class from another school stood up to him on my behalf.

Explanation: Many bullies continue in their nefarious practices because rather than discourage their actions, others out of fear either act as their sidekick (thus joining and aiding them), endorse their action by laughing at the bullied thus acting as a reinforcer, or they simply ignore because they are either indifferent or unable to do anything about it. These are called outsiders.

Because bullies are normally used to inflicting fear and terror, they are usually taken aback and can't handle the situation (in most cases) when out of the blues, someone stands up to them.

Linkback: So because bullies have fears too, and often prey on the "weak", when anyone is brave enough to stand up to them for themselves or for another person, they usually just back down. Sometimes, out of ego, they may attempt to test the strenght of the upstander. With repeated successful resistance, they finally let go of the bullied.

Cheers

Gre4nikov [31]

Answer:

Harumi attends a training session at which she learns a great deal, and she does well on a post-training test. However, when she attempts to apply her learning to the job, she finds that she cannot do so effectively. In this case, the training demonstrated good results on the learning criterion and poor results on the behavioral criterion.

Explanation:

Learning criterion is a good predictor of results and a modest criterion for transfer while the behavior criterion is a modest predictor of results.

Learning criterion : opinion of training material (Test)

 • Immediate knowledge
 • Knowledge retention
 • Behavior/skill demonstration

Behavioral criterion : Trainee job performance (ratings)

 • Transfer

In this case, the training demonstrated good results on the learning criterion and poor results on the behavioral criterion.
