How does ATP store energy for life's processes and how is it recycled?

ATP stores energy in the form of a high energy phosphate bond which then joins the terminal phosphate group to the rest of the molecule. When the cell needs energy, it takes the ATP and converts it to ADP and phosphate. Rather than discarding them, they travel back to the mitochondria where they are recycled in order to produce another ATP!

What does the skeletal part of the musculoskeletal system do? Why is 'protects the organs of the body' correct?
Alexxx [7]

The bones of the skeletal system protect the body's internal organs, support the weight of the body, and serve as the main storage system for calcium and phosphorus. The muscles of the muscular system keep bones in place; they assist with movement by contracting and pulling on the bones.

A selectively permeable membrane separates two solutions. Water is able to pass through this membrane; however, sucrose (a disac
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

a. Nothing happens because the two solutions are isotonic to one another.

Explanation:

Two solutions of the same molarity are separated from each other by a membrane that allows water molecules but not the glucose or sucrose to move across it. Movement of water across the selectively permeable membrane occurs only when two solutions have different concentrations of solutes. In that case, water moves from a hypotonic solution towards a hypertonic solution. Since both sucrose and glucose solutions have the same tonicity, there would not be any change in the solution.

Anemic conditions in agriculture animals result in a (blank) condition
AURORKA [14]

Make an appointment with your doctor if you're feeling fatigued for unexplained reasons. Some anemias, such as iron deficiency anemia or vitamin B-12 deficiency, are common.

Fatigue has many causes besides anemia, so don't assume that if you're tired you must be anemic. Some people learn that their hemoglobin is low, which indicates anemia, when they go to donate blood. If you're told that you can't donate blood because of low hemoglobin, make an appointment with your doctor.
