The author's third claim is C- The school board would lead to more marketing in the school.

Explanation

 • Advertisements in and around the school premises and specifically inside the school premises creates an immense scope of influencing students' positively and negatively as well. Advertisements are those mediums through companies and organizations promote their product and eventually succeed in influencing or impacting the taste and preference of consumers. Ad boards and posters inside school premises such as cafeteria, school building and so on can always go a long way in giving impetus to the demand and popularity of such products.
 • Same way if the school board is put up outside the school it would create ample opportunities for promoting the school and causing positive publicity. More and more people would come to know bout the school. This would help the school in garnering more and more students which would men more benefit for the institution.
 • Other product advertisements inside or in the school always lead to marketing such products amongst the students and in the school as a whole. Marketing which means promotion or publicity of the product so that consumers get to know about it.

1:The electric light is a(n) _______ of Thomas Edison. (INVENT)
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

1. an invention

2. completely

3. interesting

Explanation:

Since the word "invention" begins with a vowel sound /ɪnˈvɛnʃn/, we should use the indefinite article "an". As for "interested": the adjectives that end with "-ed" describe some sort of condition, feeling of either thing or human, temporary in general; the adjectives with "-ing" describe some kind of quality, generally permanent. Therefore, we should use "interesting". The rest is contextual.

What can you infer from the phrase "Harmon Gow...who had driven the stage"?
Aleks [24]

This is taken from Ethan Frome By Edith Wharton. I can infer that it refers to the Chronicle of being traveling from Bettsbridge to Starkfield in pre-trolley days. This novel was created in 1911 and it was adapted into a film, called by the same name "Ethan Frome", in 1993.
