2:4/5
= 2/(4/5)
= 2*(5/4)
= 5/2
= 5:2

3/4:3/10
= (3/4)/(3/10)
= (3/4)*(10/3)
= 5/2
= 5:2

Because 5:2= 5:2, 2:4/5 and 3/4:3/10 form a proportion~

Complete the solution of the equation. find the value of y when x equals 1. <br><br>9x +7y= -12
Taya2010 [7]

Answer:

y=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Equation:

                            9x +7y=-12\\             y=?       at    x= 1

Putting the given value of 'x' in the equation:

                            9(1) +7y=-12\\\\9+7y=-12\\\\7y=-12-9\\\\7y=-21\\\\y=-\frac{21}{7} \\y=-3

At x=1, the value of y is y=-3

What does x equal? <br>-x/3 + 4 = 20
zavuch27 [327]
X is equal to 48

First subtract 4 from both the sides to get
-x/3 = 16
Then multiply both sides by 3 to get x alone
-x = 48
Now divide the both sides by -1, since we can't have x being negative to get
X = 48
Hope this helps:)

Choose the inequality that represents the following graph
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Check whether the graph is inclusive or exclusive. Inclusive graphs are equal to or greater/less than, whereas exclusive graphs are just greater/less than. A filled circle is inclusive, and a non-filled circle is exclusive. We see that in the graph, the circle is filled meaning it is inclusive. Secondly, we see that the number line goes forever when it is greater than(or equal to) 3. From these two pieces of information, we see that the answer is choice D.

HELP Find the number of non-degenerate triangles whose vertices are three of the points on this six-point star.
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Answer:

20

Step-by-step explanation:

The number of combinations of 6 points taken 3 at a time is ...

6!/(3!·(6-3)!) = 6·5·4/(3·2·1) = 5·4 = 20

___

If you number the points 1–6, the points of the 20 triangles will be ...

123 124 125 126 134

135 136 145 146 156

234 235 236 245 246
