Starts off with 67 people.

Pier two: 67 + 36

               103 - 23 = 80

Pier three: 80 + 18

                 98 - 29 = 69

There will be 69 people on the boat heading for Pier four

Find g'(t) for the function g(t) = 7/t^4
Alex17521 [72]

The differentiation of the function g(t) = 7/t⁴ will be equal to g¹(t)=-28/t⁵

<h3>What is differentiation?</h3>

The method of determining the derivative, or rate of change, of a function in mathematics.is termed as the differentiation.

Given that:-

g(t)= \dfrac{7}{t^4}

The derivative will be calculated as:-

g'(t)=7   \dfrac{d}{dt}(t^{-4})\\\\\\g'(t)=7\times (-4t^{-5})\\\\\\g'(t)=\dfrac{-28}{t^5}

Therefore the differentiation of the function g(t) = 7/t⁴ will be equal to g¹(t)=-28/t⁵

After the last ice age began, the number of animal species in Australia changed rapidly. The relationship between the elapsed ti
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

Every decade, the number of species decays by a factor of 0.0834.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let be S(t) = 25,000,000\cdot 0.78^{t}, \forall t \geq 0. The decay rate per decay is deducted from the following relation:

\frac{S(t+10)}{S(t)} = \frac{25,000,000\cdot 0.78^{t+10}}{25,000,000\cdot 0.78^{t}}

\frac{S(t+10)}{S(t)} = 0.78^{t+10-t}

\frac{S(t+10)}{S(t)} = 0.78^{10}

\frac{S(t+10)}{S(t)} = 0.0834

Every decade, the number of species decays by a factor of 0.0834.
