Answer:

The answer is D.

Explanation:

Chromosome abnormalities are commonly screened in maternal blood tests, for example Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome) which is called this way because it refers to chromosome 21 having three sets rather than two. Another chromosome abnormality tested is trisomy 18 (Edward syndrome) that refers to the three sets in chromosome 18 rather than two which is observed in normal babies. Neural tube defects are tested as well. Specifically anencephaly which literally means "brain less" as the brain does not develop normally and spina bifida where the vertebrae have an opening and thus expose the nerves to damage and the baby cannot control their lower limbs and may suffer from paralysis.

Stells [14]

The correct answer is telophase.

The mitosis is divided into four phases, these are prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.

The prophase is the first stage, in which the nuclear membrane, nucleolus begin to disappear and the genetic material is condensed in the form of chromosomes. The nuclear membbrane and nucleolus are absent till the late anaphase.

In the telophase, the nuclear envelope and the nucleolus begin to form again, teh chromosomes are decondensed and the nucleus is formed again. So, the process, which occur in the early mitosis is reversed in this phase.

When too much water has accumulated
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

Too much water accumulation leads to a condition called as water intoxication.

Explanation:

Drinking too much water leads to a condition called water intoxication or water poisoning. This happens because the concentration of water becomes such abundant in a person's body that it dilutes the concentration of electrolytes like sodium in the blood. This causes a disruption in the functioning of the brain hence leading to the death of the person. Various such scenarios have been observed in athletes drinking too much water.
