The right option is; C) Golgi apparatus

Golgi apparatus is the organelle that modifies cell products, packages them for distribution, and then may turn into vesicles and bubble off the surface of the cell.

Golgi apparatus is a major membrane bound organelle found in most eukaryotic cells. Golgi apparatus modifies cell products (such as proteins) that are received from the endoplasmic reticulum and packages them into membrane-bound vesicles within the cell before the vesicles are transported to their destination. Golgi apparatus also play important roles in the transportation of lipids within the cell and in the formation of lysosomes.

The presence of protein in the urine indicates which of the following
Bess [88]
The presence of protein in the urine is called proteinuria. Proteinuria is an indicator that THE KIDNEYS' FILTRATION MEMBRANE HAS BEEN DAMAGED.
It is the work of the kidneys to filter the blood and remove all the waste products while conserving the materials needed in the body. When body materials such as protein begin to come out with urine in excess of the normal quantity expected, then that means that the kidney is not filtering the blood very well again and this is usually due to damage in the kidney glomeruli which perform the process of filtration.

The rate at which the concentration of a drug in the bloodstream decreases is proportional to the concentration at any time t. I
Westkost [7]

Answer:

C(t) = C_oe^{-kt}

Explanation:

From the given information:

At any given time (t), let c(t) represent the concentration of the drug present in bloodstream.

Deriving the equation:

\dfrac{dC}{dt} decrease proportionally to Concentration C

i.e

\dfrac{dc}{dt} \alpha - C

\dfrac{dc}{dt} = -k C

\dfrac{dc}{c} = -k dt

\int \dfrac{dc}{c} = -k \int dt

㏑(C) = -kt + λ

where,

λ is the integration constant.

Integrating at t = 0, concentration of blood = Co g/mL

C(0) = Co

㏑(C₀) = 0 + λ

λ = ㏑(C₀)

From ㏑(C) = -kt + λ

㏑(C) = -kt + ㏑C₀

㏑(C)  - ㏑C₀ =  -kt

\dfrac{C}{C_o} = e^{-kt}

C(t) = C_oe^{-kt}

∴

The concentration of drug in blood at any time t is:

C(t) = C_oe^{-kt}

Which of the following lists steps of mRNA production in eukaryotes in the correct order?A) 5' cap addition, addition of poly-A
Assoli18 [71]

Answer:

The correct answer is B) Transcription, 5' cap addition, addition of poly-A tail, exon splicing, passage through nuclear membrane.

Explanation:

The transcription process in eukaryotes takes place in the nucleus of the cell and after transcription post-transcriptional modification also takes place in the nucleus which is necessary to guide the mRNA out of the nucleus.

First, the process of transcription takes place in which DNA is transcribed to mRNA by an enzyme called RNA polymerase. After transcription post-transcriptional modifications takes place in the given order.

1. Capping: In capping process 7-methylguanosine is added by capping enzyme at 5' end of mRNA.

2. Polyadenylation: In polyadenylation, many poly-A residues are added at the 3' end of the mRNA called the poly-A tail.

3. Intron splicing: Introns are the non-coding sequence present in mRNA which are spliced out of mRNA and all exons are joined together.

After these post-transcriptional process, the mature mRNA is transported out of the nucleus through the nuclear membrane.
