luda_lava [24]

Answer:

b Cold command

Explanation:

Percy Bysshe Shelley's (1792–1822) poem "Ozymandias" is as a whole situational and verbal irony. Cold command is situational irony that because of the king's statue present condition or situation, it is in no position to give a command. The reader too does not expect any command from a half-sunk statue with a shattered visage and trunkless legs. The statue's condition described before and after this phrase makes it clear that king and his kingdom is ruined so he cannot command.

Situational Irony is a literary device in which something happens that is very different from what is normally expected.

Irony is a literary device in which some thing said or happened is opposite to what is expected.

sweet [91]

Answer:

I'll help you out but you have to learn that you can't just have other people do your homework for you all time. You have to learn how to do your own work/research. I'm sorry to sound harsh but it's true.

Explanation:

Scout and Jem learn a few valuable lessons, even if they will understand these lessons later in life.

First, they learn that the black community is poor and have little compared to them. For instance, when they are at church, Reverend Sykes is trying to raise money to help Tom Robinson's family. It is not a huge amount of money, but there is a need.

Second, they also learn that many blacks cannot read. For example, they realize the blacks do not have hymn books. When they ask why, Calpurnia says that many of them cannot read. So, the song leader sings a line,...

Andrew [12]

Answer:

There were 226 chemistry books and 166 history books.

Explanation:

Let there are x chemistry books and y history books.

ATQ,

x + y = 392 ....(1)

The number of chemistry textbook sold was 60 more than the number of history textbook sold.

x = 60+y

or

x - y = 60 ....(2)

Adding equation (1) and (2).

2x = 392 + 60

2x = 452

x = 226

Put the value of x in equation (1).

226 + y = 392

y = 392-226

y = 166

Hence, there were 226 chemistry books and 166 history books.
