Answer:

No, neither of them are correct

Step-by-step explanation:

The reason Conner's work is incorrect because he was adding the exponents which is a rule when multiplying a base and exponent when the base is the same. But in this math problem, the bases are different. And the reason Jana's work is incorrect is because she messed up while multiplying the exponents. Instead of multiplying the exponents 5 · 8, she multiplied 5 · 9 and 8 · 10 instead of 9 · 10.

My answer is 6^40 6^90

(3^5 x 6^8) = 3^5 x 6^8 = 6^40

(3^9 x 6^10) = 3^9 x 6^10 = 6^90

This question was very difficult for me to answer but I am hoping it helped (even if this question is old)

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Neither of them has partitioned the values correctly. The answer to the sum 3568 × 39610 =141 328 480.

They tried the partition method but did not partitioned it correctly.

3568 = 3000+500+60+8

39610 = 30000+9000+600+10

Now multiply each value of 3568 with the values of 39610. Like:

3000 * 30000

3000 * 9000

3000 * 600

3000 * 8

and so on....
