Hi !

J'aime étudier le français = j'aime l'étudier

Jean et Jacques aiment regarder le football américain =
Jean et Jacques aiment le regarder

OR (if you had to put a contraction)

Jean et Jacques aiment le football américain
Jean et Jacques l'aiment

you must contract "me, te, le" when a vowel follows +y+H.....

Look at the two answers below I already answered specially the one asking if direct object take place of.................

Hope I helped !

Ronch [10]
1. Elle est. 2. Ont. “Jean-Louis et Géraldine” sont “ils.” 3. Voit. “Pierre” est “il.” 4. There is a quotation mark here, so it’s direct speech. It is most likely “parle,” but it could also be “parlez.” There is also a mistake here. It’s “j’entende,” not “je entendons.” 5. N/A. 6. Je ne comprends pas. There is no beginning of the sentence for the next one. 7. N/A. 8. Nous allons.

6. What are the two parts to negation in French? Where are these two parts placed?
Luba_88 [7]

Bonjour

The two parts of negation usually are

ne ... pas

But you can find as well

ne ... plus (no more)

ne ... jamais (never)

They have to be on each part of the verb on the présent tense

Tu ne parles pas (you don't speak)

And on each part of the auxiliare "être" OR "avoir" if you're using the passé composé tense or any "composé" tenses

Tu n'as pas parlé

hope this helps ☺☺☺
