How does the U.S. Constitution reflect the principle of democracy? It creates a republic government, which is the same as democr

acy. Most of the people can elect leaders and petition the government. It creates a republic form of government run by only a few officials. Most of the people have no role or effect on the legislative branch.

The U.S. Constitution reflects the principle of democracy because it creates a republic government which is a form of democracy. In the original constitution, most people could elect leaders and petition the government, however, at the time of writing women and African Americans could not vote.

The government of Julius Caesar changed basically into dictatorship, even though Rome was supposed to be progressive and have a democratic government. He proclaimed dictator for life, and he heavily centralized the bureaucracy of the Republic, meaning he gave the government more control & power.
