A change in environment could push an organism out of the area such as bugs, the birds would usually depend on the bugs for food but they would have to rely on seed instead. Their beaks might change in shape due to this, causing genetic diversity... just a guess. :)

What material can S-waves travel through and how fast are they? Describe an S-wave's motion.
zzz [600]

These waves are of a higher frequency than surface waves. The first kind of body wave is the P wave or primary wave. This is the fastest kind of seismic wave, and, consequently, the first to 'arrive' at a seismic station. The P wave can move through solid rock and fluids, like water or the liquid layers of the earth.

Which of the following is digested first?

protein
starch
fat
sugar
Reika [66]
Answer:
Starch

Explanation:
Digestion begins in the mouth. The teeth break down food from chewing through mechanical digestion.

Chemical digestion also begins in the mouth. Saliva moistens food, but it contains an important enzyme called amylase. This enzyme breaks down starch into simple sugars.

So, the first compounds that are digested are starch.

frez [133]

Answer:

positive error and negative error.

Explanation:

There are two types of error which is possible when measuring of a length with the help of ruler. Positive error occurs if the calculated value is larger than actual value while negative error occurs when the calculated value is smaller than actual value. To avoid positive error, the increased value should be subtracted from calculated value while negative error can be corrected by adding the value with the reading.
