The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The question is incomplete. Indeed, there is no reference to your previous answer. However, by reading the answers attached we can say that the topic is the Industrial Revolution in the United States. So all those answers can be valid because that is what happened at that time.

People that lived in rural American moved to larger cities such as New York or Chicago, where the big industries and factories were located. Those fabrics were offering plenty of jobs, although those were low-paid jobs. Immigrants came to the United States looking for better conditions for their families and they were hired in the factories. There was a negative side to all of this. Immigrants and poor people worked under unhealthy conditions in places with no ventilation. To make things worse, they lived in crowded spaces in poor neighborhoods, where the risk of disease spread was major.

What led to the beginning of World War II in Europe, and Germany’s early successes
hodyreva [135]
The beginning of WWII happened for a lot of reasons, and a lot of it can be pinned on the league of nations and Great Britain. See, the official start of WWII is the invasion of Poland. But Hitler, in his silly ways, had already invaded at least one country before that. Nothing happened except for a little warning from G.B and the l.o.n. Another reason for the start of WWII is alliances. Just like WWI, everybody was on a side and ready to fight like the preppies and greasers. Poland gets invaded (like your moving on a greaser's gal) and now you got a full blown conflict going on, and you know someone is gonna get shanked. Why did Germany do so well in the beginning you ask, hmmm? Let me tell ya, it was blitzkrieg. Germany moved fast into Poland. In and out, like a sketchy gas station. Get what you want and go. Germany took over and split the nation and then went to Belgium. Deja vu, am I right. All of a sudden, faster that you can say croissant, Germany is marching into France like they own the place. That is why Germany did so good early on. They were fast, and they were capable. They had brains at the head of the organization, at least until he blew 'em out with a pistol.

Why did the British ban the colonies from using Boston Harbor in 1774
bija089 [108]
On March 25, 1774, British Parliament passes the Boston Port Act, closing the port of Boston and demanding that the city's residents pay for the nearly $1 million worth (in today's money) of tea dumped into Boston Harbor during the Boston Tea Party of December 16, 1773.

In your own words analyze the causes of Imperialism and use specific examples to support them.
Anettt [7]

Imperialism is a relationship between countries that is based on ideas of superiority and applying domination practices, which involve the extension of authority and control of one State or people over another. It can also be a political doctrine that justifies the domination of one people or State over others; usually through different types of colonization (settlement, economic exploitation, strategic military presence) or cultural subordination (acculturation).

There were several causes of Imperialism. The crisis of 1873 caused the decline in prices, products of each country prohibiting the entry of foreign goods or taxing them. This led to the need to find new markets that were not controlled by this system. On the other hand, European capitalist powers such as England, the Netherlands and France needed to give out their capital surplus and did so by investing it in countries of other continents, establishing loans, implementing railroads, installing ports, etc. In addition, these countries needed to look for raw materials for their industries, since they began to run out or to be scarce in Europe. The Second Industrial Revolution, on the other hand, needed new raw materials that Europe did not have, such as silver, oil, rubber, gold, copper, etc. The economic causes were the result of the expansion of industrial capital and were forced to seek new territories where they could invest the excess capital accumulated, these capitals found a productive output in the form of credits granted to the minority of indigenous people.
